In My Mind I'm Goin' to Carolina: The Story of A House Divided and Why I'm Sick of GMU

So if you've been following South of the James this weekend, you obviously know that George Mason, a place that I've affectionately known as Fairfax U, is headed to the Sweet 16. (Btw, have you seen Gunston?)This occassion creates quite a conundrum in my home since I am an alumnus of UNC-Chapel Hill. Hence, I live in a house divided. Yes, my turncoat husband has sold out since he also attended UNC-CH. But, if you've been reading his post this weekend, you'd never know it given the crazy love of GMU. But, I, unlike my husband will forever be true to Carolina Blue, for one basic reason. They paid me. So, with that said, I today, mourn the loss of a great team. Goodbye, Tarheels and here's to listening to another week of Sports Center highlights on GMU. Heaven help us all!

You're just a hater, plain and simple. Go back to your pools of light and leave us alone (figuratively speaking, that is)!

Wouldn't you be an alumna, not alumnus?

Yes, that is correct. That sort of relationship is technically illegal here in Virgina. Thanks for keeping us legal.
